AusFitness Expo 2026 has wrapped up, and what a few days it was. Held at ICC Sydney from 11–12th September, the event brought together fitness professionals, gym owners, personal trainers, athletes, brands and fitness enthusiasts from across Australia.

For Gym Direct, this year's expo was bigger than ever. Instead of one stand, we brought two dedicated spaces to the show floor: Gym Direct at Stand 426 and Harison at Stand 432.

And each stand had something different to offer.

From futuristic commercial strength equipment and modern free weights to functional training machines built for busy gyms, visitors had the chance to get up close with some of the equipment shaping the next generation of fitness spaces.

At Stand 426, we showcased equipment designed with commercial training environments in mind. These were machines that weren’t just there to look impressive, they were there to demonstrate how modern gyms can make better use of their space while giving members more ways to train.

Among the equipment featured were the Multi Functional Lunge Machine and RM9 Functional Trainer, two standout pieces that generated plenty of interest throughout the expo. The Multi Functional Lunge Machine highlighted the versatility of the RMC Blitz Commercial Series, while the RM9 demonstrated how a single piece of equipment can support a wide range of training styles. If Stand 426 was all about commercial training solutions, Harison at Stand 432 brought a distinctly futuristic feel to the expo floor. The stand showcased equipment that combined modern aesthetics with innovative technology, offering a glimpse into the future of commercial fitness. Two standout pieces helped define the space: the Harison Omega G40 Series and the Walnut & Stainless Steel Dumbbell Set, combining cutting-edge design with a premium look.

The Harison Omega G40 Series was one of the biggest talking points at the Harison stand.

With its futuristic design and smart digital resistance technology, the G40 Series looked a world away from traditional strength machines. It showed how technology and strength training are becoming increasingly connected, creating equipment that feels more like the next generation of fitness than a conventional gym machine.

The G40 range featured several commercial strength machines, including digital resistance options for movements such as chest and shoulder pressing, leg press, leg extension and leg curl, as well as abductor and adductor training.

For gym owners looking to create a premium training environment, the G40 Series demonstrated how equipment can become part of the overall experience, not just another machine on the gym floor.
